Holland-based Genesis Innovation Group LLC raised $7.2 million of its $10 million goal toward a fund to invest in early stage health care companies, particularly those developing medical devices and orthopedic technologies.
The company, founded in 2013 by veterans of the health care industry, continues to raise money for its cultivate(MD) Capital Fund GP LLC, which is in due diligence on possible investments in several companies. The group also raised capital on an as-needed basis for some of its portfolio companies.
