Rob has spent more than two decades bringing medical device technologies to market, including proprietary orthopedic materials.
He served at Tornier NV as Global Vice President, Research and Development, during which time Tornier grew from approximately $70M to $300M in annual revenues through organic growth of new products.
He holds more than 30 issued or pending patents.
Shoulder Innovations | Executive Chairman (2015-present)
Rob lead the investment into Shoulder Innovations and installed current management team which has taken the technology from research stage to commercial stage, with first human surgical case in June 2016.
Shoulder Innovations has now successfully completed multiple investment rounds, with more than $3M in capital invested.
Rob currently leads the Board of Directors as Executive Chairman, and leads the development of product strategy and clinical research.
Magnesium Development Company | Founder and CEO (2015-present)
Rob led the acquisition of exclusive rights to this innovative material technology with significant application to orthopedic market.
He was also responsible for developing the product research and development strategy and led 2 investment rounds resulting in $1.3M in capital raised to support technical development plan.
Currently preparing IDE submission to FDA for application of material technology in Foot and Ankle orthopedic indications.
Prior to Co-Founding and leading Genesis Innovation Group, Rob has held many executive positions in the medical device space.

Rob held responsibility for all aspects of new product innovation and lifecycle management for all products and market segments at the company. Reporting to CEO, built team of over 100 professionals lead through the launch of close to 100 new products in many segments of orthopedics.
Revenues grew from $70M to over $300M during the period, primarily through organic growth.
Rob lead the team for a 5 year term while living in France, during which Tornier executed an IPO in 2011.
